Christies Accountants & Advisors has been a provider of financial solutions in Dubbo and the surrounding regions since 1946. The practice works with individuals, retirees, business owners and investors, and its team of accountants and advisors offers tax accounting, self-managed superannuation, retirement and estate planning, IT support, business and taxation planning and cloud-based software solutions.

The lineage is on the firm's own team page. David Rich returned from overseas in 1993 and joined his father, Ron Rich, at GJ Christie & Co; in 1995 the firm changed its name to Christies Public Accountants and he became a partner. David Chapman came back to the country and started at Christies in 2004, becoming a partner in 2006. Jeremy Dickson began as a cadet accountant in 2002 and became a partner in 2014. Those three surnames — Chapman, Dickson and Rich — are the ones the tax agent registration is held in.

Several of the accountants here arrived as cadets and finished their degrees and professional qualifications while working at the firm, among them Jeremy Dickson, Anthony Burrell, Kathy Sumich, Dan Rich and Nicholas Crawford. Most of the team grew up in Dubbo or the districts around it — Narromine, Nyngan, Wellington, Coonabarabran.
