Stanley & Stewart Chartered Accountants is a chartered accounting practice in Parramatta, providing a personalised service across accounting, taxation, financial planning and superannuation matters.

The practice works through two companies. Accounting, tax and business services are provided by Stanley & Stewart Accountants Pty Ltd, trading as Stanley & Stewart Chartered Accountants — a company that is not licensed to provide financial planning services. Financial planning is provided by Stanley & Stewart Financial Planning Pty Ltd, a corporate Authorised Representative of Politis Investment Strategies Pty Ltd, AFSL 253125, and its fees are based on a fee for service arrangement for advice.

On the tax side the practice writes at length about GST: what is and is not subject to it, why GST cannot be claimed on bank charges, what happens when a rental property is bought, and the ATO's scrutiny of GST claimed by property developers — an area in which it states long standing experience.
