Kostar Accounting was established in July 2009 and describes itself as a professional tax, accounting and business advisory firm, working with clients whether they are a new business or an individual.

The practice organises its work into three parts: business accounting and taxation, financial planning, and individual tax and superannuation. Behind those sit six named services — audit and assurance, taxation advice, business advice, financial planning, business valuation and superannuation advice.

It works with clients through the year rather than only at lodgement time: regular meetings, a run through the profit and loss, the balance sheet and the statement of cash flows, and coaching for an owner and their staff on accounting practice. The office is open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm.
