JTU Accounting Group is an accounting and business advisory firm servicing the Canterbury business community in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, as well as the business and farming community in Alexandra in north-eastern Victoria. The majority of its clients are family-owned businesses, and they span the entire business life cycle, from start-up right through to sale.

The practice began as Jim Ulrich & Associates Pty Ltd, established in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne in 2003 to service the accounting and taxation needs of local small business owners. Two decades later it provides an extensive range of business, taxation, accounting and financial services, having grown from a traditional accounting and tax practice into a full financial services firm.

Its clients span a broad range of industries, and over time the firm has developed specialist expertise in a number of them — primary production, abattoirs, panel beaters, audiologists, coin laundries, retailers and restaurants. Negative gearing of investment properties and self-managed superannuation funds have become specialist services within the practice. It believes in personalised service, visits clients at their place of work, and states that it views the tax return as the start of the client process rather than the end.
